Polychronis Griveas, Deputy Managing Director

On October 1st 2006 Mr Polychronis Griveas joined the Astir Palace’s Board of Directors, appointed to the Deputy Managing Director’s position. He is an MBA graduate of highly acclaimed hotel management schools in Switzerland (IHTTI, Hotel Management Diploma) and the United States of America (J&W University, Business Management).

Mr Griveas has held several executive level positions in top notch properties on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean such as the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, the XV Beacon Hotel and Foxwoods Resorts and Casinos. Prior to undertaking his new role at Astir, he served, for a period of 3.5 years, as the Chief Operating Officer of the Sofitel Capsis Hotels and General Manager of its 700 guestroom resort and largest Conference Center in Greece.
