ASTIR PALACE VOULIAGMENI S.A. (the “Company”) is a Greek Society Anonym that is a subsidiary of the National Bank of Greece S.A. Group and operates under the Law of Society Anonym. The Company derives from the divulsion of the main sector of ASTIR PALACE S.A., that is to say Group of Vouliagmenis, which dated at 31/12/1997 (Government Gazette, Society Anonyms and Limited Liability Companies Issue, No 10045/31.12.98) and registered in the Register of Society Anonym of the Ministry of Development with S.A. Registration No 41850/06/B/98/78. Now operates under the brand name “ASTIR PALACE VOULIAGMENI S.A.”.
The Company’s head office is located at Stadiou and 1, Santaroza Str. Municipality of Athens. It’s branch is located at 40 Apollonos Str., Municipality of Vouliagmeni. From the 1st of January 2009, the Company’s head office will be located at Municipality of Vouliagmeni according to the Genaral Meeting´s Decision of 30-06-2008.

The Company is managed by a Board of Directors composed of eleven (11) members and the Financial Statements of the Company are included in the consolidated financial statements of the National Bank of Greece S.A.. The amounts in these financial statements are dominated in Euro, which is the currency used in the immediate financial environment of the Company.
The Company’s share has been listed on the Athens Stock Exchange since 2000.
On 1st July 2006 Starwood Hotels and Resort Worldwide Inc undertook the management of the resort. The Arion hotel and Bungalows are now presented as Arion Resort & Spa, The Luxury Collection, the Nafsika hotel is now The Westin Athens while the Aphrodite hotel will keep its name until the completion of an extensive renovation which will transform it to W Athens.
